Patagonia & Samsung Tackle Microplastics, Procter & Gamble Acquires Tula Skincare – happi.com

Global problems don’t go away when the calendar flips. News that Patagonia and Samsung are addressing microplastic issues from laundry detergent was the most-viewed news on Happi.com for the week ended January 8, 2022. At CES 2022, Samsung and Patagonia said they are working on a joint solution—a feasible, effective and expandable way to combat the microplastics that result from textiles and laundry. 
 
That Patagonia/Samsung alliance topped news that Procter & Gamble is acquiring Tula Skincare. It’s P&G third acquisition in two months in the prestige beauty space. In November, P&G purchased Farmacy Beauty. Last month, P&G acquired Ouai, a hair care company.
