CONSPIRICER, 01 Oct 2022A patch means latest security left a lot of things out,they should get it right in one update,… moreThat’s not what it means. It’s a full monthly security update that’s issued by Google itself. It’s a full security update meant for October 2022.
The fact that Samsung releases them before Google does on Pixel phones is because Google pushes Android security updates first to their AOSP repository and then to the Pixel devices. Samsung is just VERY fast at grabbing these updates, compiling them and pushing them to users.

Like the S series & formal Notes all get it at once.
Then folds & flips all get updated at once.
Then the A series again at once
& Then other entry level phones they have
It still would be better than jst not knowing when your phone will be updated

Rather tha… moreIf you want that, only Apple products have that. I don’t think even Google Pixel phones are updated all at once for entire world. As far as I know they still do update seeding, just with shorter release window than Samsung that does it in weeks time.

Why not wait until you are done with update for All devices that are supported & roll them out at once 🤔
