The Samsung Odyssey G5 C34G55T curved gaming monitor has been marked down to one of its lowest prices yet. This 34-inch WQHD display has been going for around $550 as of late but today it’s discounted to $450 at Newegg.
In addition to $100 off the usual asking price, the purchase includes a $10 promo card as part of a limited offer. The promo card arrives via email four days after the purchase and is valid for one year once issued.

The official Samsung specifications classify this monitor as a 34-inch but indicate the actual screen size is 32-inches. It uses a curved VA panel with a curvature graded at 1000R and a WQHD resolution which measures up to 3440 x 1440px.
The response time can get as short as 1ms MPRT while the refresh rate caps out at 165Hz. These specifications contribute to its AMD FreeSync Premium certification which also guarantees low latency and low framerate compensation (LFC).
Users can expect a maximum brightness output of 250 Nits. There are also a couple of input ports to take advantage of including one HDMI V2 input and a DisplayPort 1.4 port. A 3.5mm audio jack provides support for optional external audio devices.
