It’s not clear how long this deal will last, but as always it’s better to snap it up sooner rather than later.
We haven’t reviewed this particular soundbar, but Samsung generally produces solid stuff. The HW-A650 supports Dolby audio as well as DTS Virtual:X, an audio technology that delivers surprisingly effective virtual 3D sound. The soundbar includes a center driver for enhanced dialogue as well as a separate wireless subwoofer for those big booms.
Samsung’s Adaptive Sound Lite technology can automatically optimize the HW-650’s sound for movies, games, and music, while a bass boost feature amplifies the bass with a single button touch.
For connections, you get HDMI-ARC and a single HDMI input, plus an optical connector for older TVs. The soundbar comes with its own remote, and it has Bluetooth for playing music from your phone, as well as support USB music playback with support for WAV, MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC, AAC, and AIFF formats.
If you’re looking to boost the sound in your living room, this is an excellent mid-range soundbar at an enticing price.
