Samsung is the #1 in sales revenue. Samsu… moreGoogle has a deal with network operators to cripple the update-ability of Android. This is a true fact and the ONLY reason Android is still fundamentally broken in 2022.
Legislators stuffs their pockets instead of doing what they’re hired to do. Protect people against greedy corporations. Taking a decade to “pretend investigate” the usefulness of charger port standards, for instance. They haven’t even bothered to open the folders about Google and network operators so blatantly forcing planned obsolescence on electronic devices costing up towards 2,000 bucks.

A good thing with Samsung that they provide so many software updates. Their support will bring revenues.

Samsung is the #1 in sales revenue. Samsung mobile has much more employees than other brands. Much more financial resources to spend on software.
It eas beyond bizarre that few years ago ppl had to wait until march to get new android while other brands started in november/december.

Will they bring back the oled notch hide again? Which they removed with 3.1.
I miss the notch and navigation bezels, and the original rectangular screen. Round corners died ages ago on our TV.

Honestly, besides Google themselves, Samsung is the only other Manufacturer giving stable and proper OS updates to majority of their devices.
Even Nokia has become a joke and shadow of it’s former selves.
Same goes for OnePlus. Most of their updates bring glitches and god knows what other issues.
